How does HAUL decide if something is worth buying?
It looks for completed sales of the same product — not asking prices — on marketplaces like eBay, Catawiki and Marktplaats, takes off the fees and shipping for where you'd sell it, and compares what's left with the price you were asked and your own rules.
Why does HAUL sometimes say it isn't sure?
Because some things rarely sell publicly, or sell under many different names. When HAUL can't find enough real sales of the same item, it tells you so instead of guessing a confident number. An honest “not sure” is still useful: it tells you the risk is yours.
Are the prices guaranteed?
No. They are estimates from what sold recently. Markets move, and every item is different — always check what's in your hand before you pay. See the terms.
Is identifying an item free?
Yes. Pointing the camera at something and finding out what it is is always free. Research — finding what it really sold for — is part of a subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription or get a refund?
Subscriptions go through your Apple ID. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HAUL to change or cancel. For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com — Apple handles all payments.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
On your phone. HAUL has no account server. To delete everything, go to You → Settings → Erase everything, or simply delete the app. The privacy policy lists exactly what is sent to which service when you use a feature.
HAUL got something wrong. What do I do?
Tell us — with the item and, if you can, a screenshot — at hello@gethaul.me. Every report helps HAUL get better for everyone.
